So here it is... the first single from my forthcoming EP 'The Longer Now'. You're going to want to use headphones for this one.

Sometimes a piece of music forms in my head and the only way I can get it to stop going round and round is to try and work out how to play it. That happened with this track, however once I'd worked it out and recorded the handpan part it just kept on going, but got bigger and bigger. I ended up playing around with a variety of synthesisers (something I'd never done before), learned how to create my own electronic beats, and I picked up an electric guitar for the first time in over 15 years. Its been a lot of fun, but has pushed me into territory I never imagined I would go. This is as close to what it sounded like in my head as I am able to get it. All proceeds from downloads of this single and preorders of the EP will go towards professionally mixing and mastering the 'The Longer Now', and making it sound how I could never achieve by myself.
